Take a moment. Examine yourself. How do you feel about yourself? Do you find a sense of self worth? Do your consider yourself worthless? Could you describe yourself as rotten? That's a pretty harsh word, yet does it cover how you feel about yourself? If it does, read on, there's an answer for you.
Feeling rotten doesn't start out that way. It starts with being put down, told you are too little too many times. It continues when you keep being told that you're too young, too immature, too little, too this, and too that over and over and over again. After so much repetition, you begin to believe it yourself. It causes you to devalue yourself. You get the idea that you're worthless. This, in turn, leads to a general feeling of being rotten. You don't let yourself think about this much, but it's there, guiding your behavior all the time.
Want to get over it? Forget the memories that make you rotten. All those memories from all those experiences of being told that you were too anything to be able to do something no longer are in charge of your behavior. Your subconscious mind has been told to cease and desist using those memories to direct your behavior. Being or feeling rotten is no longer required. You really are not too little, too immature, too young, etc, to do anything. You can do what you want. Other people are going to notice the difference, too!
Now, don't get too excited. There are times when you should feel rotten. It happens. What about someone you really care about dies? How about when you do something terribly wrong? Those are times when feeling rotten is appropriate. To allow for these times, remember the memories that let you be rotten. This directs your subconscious mind to use memories which give you permission without the force of having to. In other words, you make the choices from now on. It not something that continually happens to you, you pick.
Go forth and be what you can be. You're worth it!
