All of us have had sadness in our lives. It is not something that we can avoid. It is a part of life. Some people suppress their sadness. Others hide it from themselves as well as everyone else. Some show it freely, yet never seem to get over it. In all these cases, the sadness has not been dealt with appropriately to allow the person to move on with life.
What can be done to allow everyone to deal with their sadness, thus getting on with life? Forget the memories that make you sad. This intervention changes the programming of your subconscious mind. It has been instructed to cease using the memories of your past which have had the effect of making you sad. They will no longer do this to you.
On the other side of this is remember the memories that let you be sad. There are times when it is appropriate to be sad. You know when these are. Your subconscious mind does, at least. Now it will give you permission to be sad at these times. Yet you will not have to be sad. Your mind has the permission to be sad without the compulsion of having to be.
Not having to be sad will have a tremendous impact on you. Once you quit having to be sad, you are free to truly be happy. The limit of being sad no longer gets in the way of your happiness. Therefore you can be happier than you had previously thought possible. As the song says, "Don't worry, be happy."
